if you want to do some touristy, sporty or nerdy stuff, here are some nice options: today [17-23h] is the long night of research (Lange Nacht der Forschung), where scientist, organizations and companies share their projects, technologies and achievements. So if you see around museums or institutions posters, you can go inside and check it out. And they usually speak English as well. There is also one station at the UN/Atomic agency headquarters (near the river, but passport and security checks!) Given the good weather, city bikes are good option to explore (even in gear), especially along the Kanal and the Danube island/river [20+ km park and recreational area]. For those who like a hill challenge with a view - Kahlenberg is a good option. It is also accessible by public transport or hike through the vineyards and wineries. Other hills, forests, vineyards, view, drink options -> Bisamberg/Strebersdorf/Stammersdorf (NW), Jubiläumswarte [W] , Lainzer Tiergarten [W] fyi: public transport runs around the clock, including the ubahn today and tomorrow and some trains, but more remote destinations would be harder/longer to reach later at night

As I’m off work on my notice period leave at the moment I’m going to try my best to get over to Vienna from London. This event looks awesome, already know which outfits I’d bring and the weather looks sunny too! Gonna check out accommodation and travel. Fingers crossed guys 🤞🏻 (and any other body part that can be 😂)

Is this raffle possible? I read the information about gong without a ticket and I wouldn't travel that far in the hope to be honest.

what would be interesting for you? We are discussing with @lycrahead maybe setting up recreational cycling, hike, walk, but it is very much weather dependent and if there is any actual interest. For parties, there are a few gay bars and some dancing clubs/parties, but nothing big happening that weekend as far as I know and usually the parties are on Saturdays, anyways.

I would go for a sightseeing walk around in our gear 👌

I am so looking forward for this event! Seems it is going to be even greater than the inaugural one in the fall. I am local, albeit not native, and happy to assist anyone with any tips or questiones they may have. Just drop me a message. I am happy to meet new poeple and to help you have a great time in Vienna. If the weather is nice, I could recommend and I am also open for joint workout, swim, cycling, walk, hike, etc. In gear or not. More nerdy activities are also possible, esp in bad weather :)

I haven't attended the last edition of this party, but I know the location, Hard On. It's very nice. Rather intimate. A small gay fetish club run by an member's society. There is a central bar area for socialising (and maybe dancing), and some backrooms for having fun. It's perfect for an event like this. About places to stay: HardOn is near districts 6, 5 and 4. It's also right by the underground line 4, so you could find a cheaper hotel further out near a U4 stop, e.g. Hütteldorf (which isn't an interesting area at all, but probably cheaper to stay in.)
