Add a "Visitor" feature?

Going out in spandex or at the beach in a thong is one thing... but doing the same with buddies certainly makes it much easier. I am currently spending some time in Europe and just thought it would be great if this website would offer an option to "register" as a visitor so other spandexpartyers could know about it. I, for one, will always be happy to join other fellows if you happen to be in my area at some point. Any thoughts on that?

I really like this idea! this would improve nicely the "guys near you" feature. preferably with some notifications/alerts when someone "comes" into your area. and as a visitor, you could also check out who is also in that area as a visitor or as a regular.

To add to this excellent suggestion, I would always keep the hometown in the system with the city you are visiting in a separate category.
