I live in California, and aussiebum stuff in some stores are pricy, so ordering form Aussiebum (free international shipping) works for me, tho. But maybe that doesn't work in Belgium?

The issue with orders from Aussiebum.com and other international sites who deliver from outside Europe to Belgium is that taxes and extra costs can become high. My last order was 192,00 AUD with free delivery but the Belgium customs added 20 AUD for the delivery. So the total price for them was 212,00 AUD. That's around 137 EUR or 188 dollar. Then they calculated costs and taxes on that amount and the result of that was that I had to pay 43 EUR extra. That's more or less 60 dollar. So sometimes it can be interesting to buy some items from an European site even if they are a little bit more expensive then on Aussiebum.com I think that the same counts for other European countries.

FYI: People from Aussiebum have mailed me, saying: ".... We do have a store in Brussels: § Store Name: Chevi Rue de Lombardstraat 31, Brussels 1000 Hope fully you can purchase from there..."

Just a warning about buying aussiebum in the Uk. I bought stuff and got stung for import duty. If you do order more than one item order separately. That way the total does not creep up and you get stung for tax

That's exactly the reason why lionell is searching for an european webshop to order aussiebum items. And it proofs that the extra import duty is not only an issue in Belgium but also for other European countries. Could be indeed interesting to order items separately but then it's still possible that you have to pay extra cost depending on the value of the single item. So it's even possible that you have to pay a cost then for every package.

That shop is closed since a year or two. So that's probably the reason why you don't find the Facebook page.

How much do they add then? Pretty cool idea for swimming trunks, let's hope it takes off.

It depend of the country where you are receiving the items. In Belgium 21% VAT is added + 12 euro handling cost and if the price is above a certain amount then you have to pay also extra import taxes. Even if you are lucky that you don't have to pay VAT or import taxes then the change is very high that the postal service will ask 25 euro because it had to go via customs

As far as I am aware and I shop regularly with Muscleskins and N2N, you can import into the EU from outside the EU if you keep the value under the equivalent of €100.
