I was having a discussion with a friend about how long to leave a cock ring on. I've always taken off my cock ring after sex, but he thinks you can wear one throughout the day. The internet says that 30 minutes is about maximum for wearing one and after a break, you can put it on again. So, how long do you wear one?

For me, the type of ring and the length of time I can wear them all vary….this is all assuming they fit/are comfortable to begin with Fabric/stretch type I can wear all day- Metal usually for brief periods of time (pun!) but I do love the sturdiness and that they stay in place. The plastic/silicone/other are tricky… A lot of the softer stretchy type are good for one or two wears, until they fall apart, so no longer buy these, sometimes they come free with a purchase. I think silicone is what’s best for long periods of time, but it depends, Im not 100% sure what makes some of them different from the others. Some are extremely comfortable and almost like wearing nothing but feeling full support, and they LAST so long, they usually come in a regular tubular round form or the thicker band style. These are fun to stack and create like a super base with ultimate lift for bulge. Another one like those is my “o-ring” one, VERY thick and heavy but cool, with its curved contour shape I find that to be extraordinary and helpful, I also have a metal one of that curved style. Then the “other” type (I’d like to know what or how to differentiate this from other silicone) these get pretty uncomfortable after maybe an hour ish… they are black and have had them in several sizes, shapes etc. they dont bother on around my shaft or the area where cock meets balls, but it is always underneath the balls, not quite the taint but the balls edge, if you will. It gets itchy, and then burns from the itch, and have also noticed the sweat builds up in between it and the skin, I sweat a lot so that is nothing new. Another problem I tend to have with almost any type is that they slip off after some time, especially when I turtle up/shrink. The only exception has been the curve type, those stay on for long periods. Any idea why or what causes that? I have heard of “fake silicone” cr’s but Im not well versed on them. Also any tips on how to keep them from slipping?
