I love cycling. I love cycling in lycra.
I cycle to switch off and to free my mind. Hence I've always loved cycling solo. I've never been attracted to cycling in a group or with friends.
However, I do love occasions when I'm out and I come across another cyclist or group of cyclists, and there's a gorgeous lycra-clad bum in front of me. I know it's frowned upon, but I love to hold back or keep up and ogle that ass for a kilometre or two. ðŸ¤ðŸ”¥
"Frowned upon?" Why? How would they know you're hanging back to watch vs. just being in back of the pack? You just happen to be going the same direction for a while. Right? 😈 Seriously, I just did this the other day on a ride. There were a couple of pretty decently built guys I caught up to and so I just slowed down a little for a few miles and enjoyed the scenery. Eventually I needed to get back up to my normal pace and passed them and said something like "have a good ride" and they said something nice back. Nothing awkward at all.
I've been told it's courtesy to ask if it's okay to sit there rather than just join in. (You need to learn all the warning hand signals too!)
Maybe someone who rides in a group can comment?
