Ft. Lauderdale / Other FL Suggestions?

I haven't taken a vacation in a really long time, but I think I'm going to look to travel someplace warm this winter. Anyone have suggestions for places that are thonger-friendly in Florida or someplace else in/near the US? I was looking at Ft. Lauderdale, but was wondering if any of the beaches are good for thonging.

I'm going to be in Ft Lauderdale for a few days and was wondering if there's any cool swimwear/fetishwear stores around or other things to do (or anyone that'd be interested in meeting up with a chub uncut cub). I've heard about Haulover Beach, and will definitely try going one or two of the days.
