I would also say the crunch on 23rd Street and the NYSC at Astor place which used to be David Barton are both places you'll find other guys in Lycra. Have also been in good company at blink in chelsea, blink in Williamsburg by Marcy JMZ trains, and crunch on Fulton in Brooklyn. A free classpass trial or a free trial pass from the gym websites will get you in ;)
