Exactly that. Make sure your penis is hard. Slide it in one of the legs and keep on pedaling. The friction causes a real good sensation and eventually orgasm too.

"Shammy" comes from the old-style shorts that had actual chamois (leather) as the pad. That needed softening and chafe prevention. These days it's all fancy foam, but some folks still need to deal with chafing so they use lotions that (should be) designed to not damage the foam or the lycra.
