i actually deleted the original post, but i've decided to rewrite it for those who might've been curious about what i had written
i basically pointed out that comic books were largely to blame for society's general resistance and distaste for men wearing spandex in public, specifically spandex that had visible dick outline present
now, you might think that comic books are a friend, supporter and promoter of men in spandex... and while that's true, it's actually only true to an extent, and if you look at the effect they've actually had on public perception, then you'll see that they caused more harm than good for our cause
yes, there are countless men clad in spandex in comic books, but take a closer look... focus your attention on the crotch area of any and all of these spandex clad men... and you'll be filled with horror at the realization that NONE OF THEM HAVE A DICK OUTLINE! not a single one, no official comic book character has ever had a dick outline, you can search back as far as you want, you won't find it
instead, you'll see a mound, like a male ballerina's cup (if anything), but never a dick outline
and it's because of this denial and erasure of correct male anatomy in comic books that people are shocked to see actual dick outlines in real life on real men wearing spandex
in a parallel universe where dick outlines were always present in comic books, then we'd have entire generations of people for whom dick outline was a perfectly natural and ordinary sight, it would look weird NOT to see a dick outline in that world
it's a crime against manhood itself... these male comic book super heroes are meant to represent idealized male physiques, and yet, they lack the most crucial and beautiful member of a man's anatomy, that's seriously messed up imo
