Is 18 not the fantasized standard anymore?

What is everyone’s opinion on age? I’m 18 and thought that I’d gain quite a bit of attention due to my inexperience and physique. Has that shifted? Am I in the wrong place? I guess ultimately I’m looking for a mentor or partner but thought I would be easier in this community haha.

Just be yourself. Different strokes different folks. One thing I've learned as I got older (which I wish I could tell my younger, unconfident, yet very cute twink self) is that attraction, when you're confident in your own skin, really isn't regidly linear. Like defined and aligned directly to age or body type or looks. You could be a "10" and some guys will not be interested in you. Just keep at it and enjoy who you are and you will find those that enjoy you.

those of us on here who are younger are different, but not special. we all have our time being young and everything that means, and then mature through the various phases of life. we can be sexy and fun at every age. there are things to appreciate and enjoy and even be inspired by at times, by guys of all different ages.

You're doing the right thing by being active in the community mate, and what everyone says is very true.
Just keep talking to people (never be afraid to msg first, but try to come up with something more than "hi"), posting pics, commenting, engaging with people you're into. You'll find plenty of dudes dw ;)

I think you'll find that while many men may find your youth quite appealing, there will be others put off by it as well. It's the same for men my age. I know that some would consider me "too old" and that's fine. I prefer men near my age, or slightly older. All of this is to say that you shouldn't get too distressed if you aren't receiving the level of attention you expected. Eventually, the people most interested in you will reveal themselves. Treat everyone with respect, avoid or block people you don't "vibe" with, don't get pulled into squabbles between other people, and you'll be fine. Simon puts great care and attention into this site, so I'm sure as you get settled in, you'll ultimately have a very positive experience.

I would add to the above that this is quite a large site, and not everyone logs in every day, or receives notifications when new messages come in. I would give it more time, and I'd also encourage you to message guys you're interested in and not just wait for them to message you. I agree with others that you're definitely in a good place being active here and putting yourself out there. The connections will come, don't worry.
