Joe Snyder suspending production

I learned recently that Joe Snyder decided to reduce and stop their production entirely. Joe Snyder is a very widespread brand and is available in many independent online stores (wholesale). That's why I was quite surprised. I also recently had a talk with the Joe Snyder company and they're pushing a their brand CUT4MEN that will feature a very new collection next month. Anybody tried them out?

Hi, yes I learned about this from the Brief Talk Podcast. It feels like the company that produce them is just stopping the Joe Snyder brand, am I right? I wonder what the story behind this is. The JS bulge thong is legendary and I have quite a few! Joe Snyder Europe are selling the C4M brand. They have some new items listed here - https://joesnydereurope.com/en/new-products. I am yet to try.

That is true, the pouches are very very divers and well done. I haven't tried C4M yet, either. Let me see if I can get a promo voucher from C4M in the next days for the Spandex Party members. P.s. I love the Brief Talk Podcast, thanks for mentioning it!

Interesting. I will say, their quality has decreased over the years. They went from using high quality Nylon/Spandex fabric, to using the lower quality Polyester/Spandex fabric, that myself, & a lot of people I know, don't care for. (Doesn't stretch as much, when you get hard.) I have also received multiple Bulge Thongs direct from JS Mexico, where the Back strap that goes between your cheeks, is twice as thick as it should be.

Thought I was the only one who noticed that their thong backs had gotten larger and more frumpy! Original ones were sleek and smaller

Polyester has an advantage though to use as a swimsuit - more resistant and durable to both chlorine and saltwater . JS was promoting their gear as both underwear and swimwear, and I used it for both. Am sad to see the loss of JS - have a lot of their gear and loved it!

The JS guy told me that their current C4M collection uses Polyester/Elastane. Whereas the iconic JS Bulge thongs use Polyamide/Elastane. I'm also more a Polyamide kinda guy. These are currently the closest to the JS Bulge thong: https://cut4men.com/fr/32-push-up That said, I don't have many Polyester/Elastane items in general. Probably trying out a few and report back. They also told me that the new C4M collection, that arrives next month, will use Polyamide/Elastane, that is more similar to the JS Bulge thongs. Looking forward when that comes out. P.s. Love the discussion here

This is so sad to hear but love the pod cast thanks for posting that. The JS bulge thong was and is my go-to staple and some of my first thongs ever. I have to agree that their quality has declined over the years from well made polymide to polyester and having manufacturing defects. They also used to come out with shiny and other fabrics that were fun to wear, not sure what happened…too much competition out there for sexy spandex underwear and gear?

JS was my fist bulge thong!! Love the first fabric with small back and maxy bugle. So sad to hear that. I hope the new collection of CUT4MEN will be as sexy as JS!

In case anyone is wondering, you can still get the Bulge Thongs (02) in the original fabric. As far as I remember, the White, Black, Royal Blue, Turquoise, Navy Blue, & Red in the Bulge Thong 02 model are still the original fabric. & if you wanted a Neon Pink/Neon Yellow, etc thong, you could easily use some RIT Synthetic Fabric Dye, and custom dye a white thong yourself. With that being said, It will be interesting to see what the Joe Snyder parent company does with the Cut4Men brand, as the Cover Male Brand that Mensuas has, is supposed to be direct competition with Joe Snyder (after something shady happened, & Mensuas stopped selling the Joe Snyder brand). Hopefully they pay better attention fabric trends. (i.e, most of us like shiny spandex fabric/unique patterns/colors.)

HBIC i hear what you’re saying about getting JS gear in the ‘original’ material but even that’s changed over the past 5-6yrs. I recall the original polymide fabric used to be VERY stretchy but around the time they launched the polyester material their original changed as well. This is just my take of course, I don’t know the owner of the company so have been unable to verify. But agree if you’re a JS lover like me, I’ll take it if i can get it!
