Gregg Homme, Joe Snyder, and Muscleskins are great choices for thongs. There are lots of good brands, but you would be really pleased with these for starters...

Try prevailsport.com. I have no less than 30 of them from that site. Not the best quality, but extremely sexy. Save them for hot times hehe
