Photo upload limit

Are non members seriously limited to uploading 7 photos? That's mad! Guys come here to see the photos, so limiting upload quantity to 7 is really short sighted.... Less photos, means less time people spend here....less members... Less revenue. Really stupid!

I think you are able to upload 10 pics now, which is still not enough by any means. I would purchase monthly memberships here from time to time, but they have it set up so renewal is 'automatic', which means if you forget to cancel before your month is up, you are automatically charged; I see that as a bit of a money grab myself so I choose to remain an unpaid member until such time as we can buy separate monthly memberships that don't renew automatically.

I can see charging those who do not contribute any content (as typically consumers of content should have to pay). However, those providing content should get some notional benefit. This could be an allotment of a few "free" pictures per month. After all, that is what keeps the site active.

I am a premium member, but would be necesary than one day for week was free for other usuaries or increse the limits, or this page will die... is boring see the same always because the free members can not see pics or post comment, or vote.

i complained about this silly limitation as well. Who in the world would cut of his content by letting people pay for bringing you content ? i went one step further and mailed the owner of this site that i will remove my 120 pics and only leave 10 pics and will move my (valueable content) to another site that has more interest in a constant content-flow. so far i have no feedback and withtin the next week i will leave SP if nothing changes or if i dont get any feedback. its been a long time here on SP but smoehow i have the feeling its time to move on. i still hope the owner of this site realizes that he is moving in the wrong direction. SP was never and will never be a money-making-machine. if you try you will fail. cheers wolford

There appears to be some confusion about how many photos you can upload as a non-paid member. I have 9 photos in my gallery and I can't even upload anymore. I see some members are limited to 7, or even 10. How many photos are you meant to have in your gallery if you are not paying to be a member? I am not a paying member and I have reasons for that. I have one or two new photos that I was hoping to upload. I know some friends have started to stop using SP for the same reasons as those members above, ie to go somewhere else to show off their photos without having to pay. To be honest, I'll probably do the same thing if it means I can get to show off myself without having to pay to show more photos. I've always enjoyed SP, but for how much longer, who knows.....

the funniest part is for the last 10 years or so i was able to post my content for free. how should i have posted 120 pics without paying for it ? well this question should be interesting for all those that payed for the same service or ? since the old site is down this is not possible anymore. i found this "workaround" by chance and all of you could have posted pics for free. you just had to change your main profil pic and then the upload button was active again. nobody can tell me this was possible (since 10 years) without the owner of this site knowing it. it always looked like a backdoor for posting content and i asume it was there on purpose. the other option would be that the person or the persons creating this site had not much clue about programming (for 10 years or more). now i ask you a few simple questions: 1. if i hadnt been able to post my 120 pics in the last 10 years - would this be better for SP ? 2. is SP better without my content ? 3. did i maybe bring new members to the site due to my content or did i maybe encourage others to post content ? (i found so may pics of me on so many blogs around the world and all stolen form SP) now exchange the "I" with your name or any name here posting pics here - the answes is pretty simple if you wanna see it as a business relationship we should start talking business now: business partner A bring the platform and the services business partner B brings the content and both partys demand a benefit - thats what business is all about once a business deal is single sided it will be stopped sooner or later since one party is unhappy sadly the people on SP mostly are happy to throw their content on the site for free (or even pay for it) since they wanna show off. so money will be made with the hornyness of people. its time to change the way we (private people) think about what we give away for free and companys take our content and make money with it. thats common practise everywhere. BUT the difference is all the facebook google and Co. customers (you) are able to share their content for free and only those who read the terms and conditions will know that this content will be sold on one way or the other. but google and Co. are not so stupid to ask for money for you being able to post this free content. if they would have done they wouldnt be where they are now. i would be happy to pay money to keep this site up. to cover the costs. SP is US. without us SP is only a website with different services but no content. if the owner of this site would bring the content as well it would be logical and understandable that i have to pay for it. but thats not the point here. we are asked to pay for services AND content (as stated in many commercials here, and you know you cannot see +18 pics without paying). the amount of money being asked monthly shows this clearly, since maintaining the site and its services wouldnt cost so much. so long story short: you pay an amount X of money and then you bring content and then your content is even being used to make money and convince others to pay also. doesnt that sound stupid ? :) cheers wolford

since i havent got any feedback from the site owner concerning my mail since a week now i asume its of no interest and i will tear down my profile to a free member profile and will move my fotos to a different site. cheers wolford

Sorry guys... I had over 100 photos on my profile which judging from the feedback left were generally well received by all. I would have loved to be able to load more content, but the content constraint imposed by the site for non-financial users have forced me to remove them. Whilst I don't disagree with having certain restrictions reserved for those who wish to financially support the site, I do believe that severely limiting the ability to contribute content, which the site requires to remain fresh and current will hinder its progress. If this restriction was removed or at the very least relaxed, the site would enjoy far greater popularity, and who contribute content more freely and therefore attracting more members who may decide to become financial. This would surely be a win - win situation for all.

Well I glad my post generated some serious comments guys! Yes it's mad that we have to pay to add content to this site. Content that attracts more users, some of whom will subscribe. More content= more users= more revenue Less content= less users= less revenue= site closes down.....! Not a difficult concept to grasp..... I think this whole makeover of this site has been a real disaster. I'm out of here....

Perhaps the web master could set up something like "contributor appreciation coupons" where you could redeem to post additional pictures (if you were fortunate to receive "x" number of ratings, cums, messages/postings, etc. or some combination thereof). That would encourage people to contribute and be good for keeping the site active and energized.

When I first joined about 2 years ago? The image limit for me was only 3 photos! For non-paying members...which is crazy. So I RARELY came on the site.

This site needs members to post content, if the webmaster don't allow posts, we have nothing to look at..... So we don't come here.....

The photo limit in the past for non-paying members was always three photos with the old site, but you had the odd weekend when there was no restrictions at all, so even non-paying members could upload lots of photos, see unlimited profiles and 'adult' photos. You could also then just pay for one month only, that didn't keep recurring, which was a lot cheaper than it is now. But to be honest though, it gets rather tiresome when you click on the 'new photos' page to find someone has uploaded dozens of photos, page after page of them, all virtually identical, in exactly the same pose but just wearing a different coloured thong or something... I don't think it is the photo upload limit that puts non-paying members off from keep coming back on the site... it is that you have limited profile views and the fact you can't see 'adult' photos... which usually aren't adult at all, but are classed us such because by default there is a tick in the adult box when uploading photos and newer members don't notice it. And the limits have become more restrictive with the new site. Also the newsfeed with this new site is awful... it doesn't show all the visitors and it was far easier to see on the old site who had voted for photos, made comments, favourited you etc. A new more stylish site isn't going to count for anything with people if it's more restrictive, less intuitive to use and keeps trying to force you to buy a subscription.

I'm waiting for three months now to post any new pictures. Hopefully I can post them the next month with my Power Ups that I hopefully get..

I too find this upload limit very stupid. The site needs content for people to come to the site and stay, by limiting posting of pictures the site will starve to death. This is probably why I stopped using the site some time ago but was recently told that I should check out this site, just to find I already had an account here. Guys should be able to upload pics as they like, maybe up to a limit of 150 or so if there has to be a limit. Maybe could limit unpaid members to see only so many pictures per day. I may leave again soon, I have lots of pictures on other sites like GF and recon.

please increase the limit to upload photos or i cannot contribute more to the site :(

I've deleted all my pics here except one. As a non member I can't see others pics, I can only upload 3 pics. How stupid us that! So what exactly is the point of this site?
