I was thinking it would be nice to see the date when a user joined SP. Maybe show it on the top of the profile, under the "Last active"? What do you guys think?

Can you explain? I'm not sure I understand how it could be discriminatory.

I think the show joined date is great for dating/hook up sites, but this is more for the eye candy.

what would a join date solve for yall in this case? - that a profile is legit/no fake? - that a profile gets an OG badge of being a loyal member of this community?

We also have the "New" badge when messaging with newer accounts. This should help both ways: to be more friendly to new comers, and be cautious giving out personal informations.
