Showing face in pics?

Hi I'm rather new to this site and confused about this topic.
I noticed a pattern that goes on here, I was wondering why no puts their face in pictures?
Everyone blurs them out, or cuts their head off, or just take pics of their upper/lower body.
Is everyone scared to? Is it better to not show your face, for profesionnal or personnel reasons?
Like only 5% of people here actually have face in their spandex pictures.
I took a handful of pictures of myself in spandex, but wondering if i should cut/blur out my face in em?
What do you think?

I have pics with my face and I'm happy to share them with people I trust, but you do have to remember that once pictures are out there you have no control over where they end up or who uses them! Even on here there are several people who use pictures they claim to be theirs but I know full well they are not (in one case I actually took the photo of the other guy!)
I also don't mind showing face pics to people who have paid for membership as I know they have gone the extra mile for the interest. No matter what people say others can (and do) stumble across sites like these!
