SkinFit closing

I have had a busy week and see that SkinFit is closing on December 31st; this is sad news for the Spandex community. They are one of the most popular brands and one of the few where you can customize your gear.

I just put in my final order with them. I will miss being able to customize nylon/spandex gear. So many brands are going poly/spandex which isn't as slick on the skin. After this order I will have way too many of their singlets, but they will have to last me a long long time now that they are closing. I will definitely miss SkinFit Shop!

that comes as a real surprise to me. definitely a loss for the lycra world...

Eh, not plus-size friendly. Their sizes were a joke anyway.

Eh. Can't tell you how many times I ordered something in XS (I'm small with almost all other brands), only to have it fit like a large.

Their gear, when right, was fantastic. But, sizing was inconsistent, timeframe and ultimately the large jumps in price over the last year or so made it so I couldn't buy the quantities I wanted. I wish the owner(s) the best of luck for the future and thank them for bringing spandex out to a larger audience.

just casually visited skinfit website and saw that they have a 60% sale until midnight! most is already gone, so there is mostly only SIZE S left. https://skinfit-internacional.myshopify.com/

I thought this already happened no? Said ‘midnight’ yesterday too…or is this tonight? I just doublechecked my account to make sure its active in case they send out emails!

I *really* thought they updated it once inbetween. but maybe you're right. afterall it wouldn't make sense to wait 3 months to do a final clearance—after the final clearance

You’d sell when everything’s moving…and if you want to close, you’d want to do that asap and get your product out the door. Which it seems they did! I certainly wish the previous owners well…they made one heck of a product!

I'm definitely gonna miss them. Got several stuff from them and I can never get enough of them. I do wonder if there's currently a store that allows you to customize gear similar to the Skinfit level. To the owners, I'm eternally grateful for them creating and selling such high quality gear.
