Spandex as a back up or a temporary outfit.

Has anybody found themselves in a situation where they'd had to put on spandex, because normal clothes were unavailable? I'll give an example, currently I'm having to wear spandex, because the only pair of trousers I had on had some food dropped on it and is currently drying. Also is it spandex you had to look for or designated for such a situation?

Lycra is normal clothes! What are you thinking! Wear Lycra more often and feel the freedom!
