Spandex in wind.

This may sound like a weird question, but has anyone gone outside in strong winds wearing nothing but skin tight spandex? I always wondered how a gust of wind feels through spandex, and wondered if anyone ever experienced it.

IDK about specialized cold weather spandex gear like Under Armour Cold Gear, but regular spandex stuff doesn't provide much protection against wind and cold. It's a little bit of a wind break, but it's super thin & it's tight against your skin & provides basically zero insulation, so you shed heat really fast, especially when it's cool & windy. It's even worse when you're wet from sweat or rain.

Specialized winter spandex does have better protection against the wind and cold, but there are different levels of protection. Starting from fleece lined trough to specialized membranes and materials to block out the wind and cold. I’ve been cycling in temps down to minus 8C and been warm
