Suggestions and site feedback

Hi Guys, If you haven't noticed SP in its current iteration is quite clunky and I, along with a developer, have been brought on board by Mike to improve user experience and general look of the site. We want to ensure you are able to see as much as possible and interact with each other easily. It's also important to ensure everyone is getting a good bang for their buck (excuse the pun), whether you are a paying member or not you should be rewarded for the time and content you contribute to the site. The recent upload change has seen double the amount of photos uploaded, not only has this change made it quicker and easier for you to upload multiple images, it adds a ton of new images to the galleries for you all to feast your eyes on.... win-win no!? This kind of improvement represents the first of many similar improvements that are all focused on making this website awesome! Content focus (Imagery) + Ease of use (Getting to "stuff" quickly) = Awesome Now if you have any pet peeves or ideas you would like me to pose to Mike and the team let's discuss them here. I'm here to stay so you can expect lots of improvements in general and my ears are always open to suggestions from this great community. Cheers! K aka SPDesigner

Hey Guys! So SpandexParty 2.0 (Beta) is live to all members. 6 months worth of the team's blood, sweat and tears have materialised into what I hope you will agree is a very modern and up to date website that really does showcase your photos. We are still in what is called Beta testing, so please feel free to let us know any feedback and/or suggestions here or via the feedback tab on the left-hand side of every page. If you feel the need to revert to the old site you can do so via the link below. http://old.spandex-party.com/ We can't wait to hear your feedback - lets make SpandexParty awesome! Enjoy guys! K and the SP Team

Bug: Someone has viewed my profile, but for some reason the small thumbnail of what they viewed isn't showing as it does for other visitors. Hey, just have to say that having used it for a few days now, I love the new site! A much better layout, love the new visuals in the news feed - and the bigger pix across the site! Huge thanks to Mike and the team for all their hard work - it's definitely been worth the wait!

Just want to say "thank you". When we did the survey way back when, I didn't think you would be able to incorporate half of what I was suggesting - but it's all here and more. And works across devices too. Love it. Big thanks. Richard

I'm having trouble attaching pics to messages (even when they show with a tick, they don't seem to attach), but otherwise it seems to work well. Two suggestions for improvement: Increase the size of the message display window - at the moment when you look to see what message someone has sent you, you have to scroll down in a tiny, tiny window.. it makes it very awkward to read messages. Also it would be great if when you clicked on someone's profile, as well as seeing the stats about how much they have looked at you there was also a link to the messages you've sent to each other... Thanks

Hi Mike, The new site layout looks great, however would like to offer the following points for your consideration; 1) Newsfeed - Response times on the Newsfeed time - with the AJAX "please wait" circle - is significantly longer than previous site. Waiting 5-10 seconds for it to then start displaying a page is too long. Previous site general completed and displayed the page in 2-3 seconds. - On all three devices (computer, iPhone, iPad - particularly mobile), there is far too much scrolling to be done. Suggest the size of photos of members watching be reduced on all platforms, particularly mobile. - Perhaps filter by All/Views/Cums/Favourites etc. could reduce this down - Likewise, clicking on Views/Cums/Favourites etc. in the “This Month” section could link to those filters 2) Personal menu - On iPhone only, the “person” (shaded head) icon in top right which shows and hides the next row of icons. No issue with this, however what is the purpose of the “profile pic” in the row that shows and hides? This should be at the top right instead, and the menu should appear when that is clicked on - just like on the desktop version. Perhaps use the “S” logo to toggle, or get rid of it 3) New menu —> Anything.. - On mobile, the pictures are far to big. On iPad, they are probably far to big. Suggest being able to customise the view to either just show photos, or photos+text (perhaps next to the filter list button). For me personally, I would like to be able to quickly look through pics as generally speaking - I’m not interested in seeing details pics of everyone. A suggestion for the “Filter” list could be to specify the “type of pic” (i.e. skin suit etc). 4) “The who’s online bar” - I assume this is what this is for (only on desktop). Takes up far too much space IMHO. - Nope, it appears to be part of PowerUps. Don’t understand purpose of these. 5) Tooltips - Recommend these for hover icons (such as Power ups in top menu, and the Upload Photos button). 6) Button to switch between mobile and full site - Recommend this as not everyone likes the simplified (or upsized) mobile platform views 7) Cam Chat link - Doesn’t start - Parser Error Message: Could not load type 'SpandexPartyNew.chat7.chat'. 8) You mention an "use original site login" - where is this? 9) When in messaging, it would be great to click on profile name and open up a page. 10) on the iPad, as of 2-3 days ago (on old site too), typing text in is very slow. Letters appear 2-3 seconds after being typed

Hi Slycra, Thanks for your feedback. We are looking into a fix for the inbox issue some people are having due to screen size/ratio. I will let you know once its fixed. In terms of linking back to the inbox from tracks I will put this to the team and let you know if we can somehow implement this. Cheers, K

Some more little items; FYI - typing text in forum is fine. *) Quote responses in here are huge in text size *) All instant messages I have received in last 10 mins all display time as 11 hours ago *) Added comments on photos don't appear when added, or on next/previous; but do show up a min or two later *) Any Ajax swirl refreshes are slow

You can see so much work has gone into SP2.0! On iPhone 5s when editing photos, for example to delete, the options for photos on the left are partially off the left side of the screen. I prefer two things from the previous incarnation: seeing lots of thumbnails for the New photos/news feed when the page loads. With the current design you see one and have to scroll a lot. The other thing is that you don't get to see really big images as they're limited to the screen size. I like looking closer ;) New colour scheme and logo are pretty cool!
