Speedos to Spandex

When I learned how to swim, we all had to wear nylon speedos (1950's). The nylon did not clog up the filter system, but the cotton suit did. It got me into wearing speedos whenever I went to the beach. In the 1970's, speedos began to be made out of lycra/spandex. Also, I started to get serious about biking and purchased my first bike shorts shortly after I purchased the bike. I enjoyed the fit and purchased a few more. Back then, I also did a fair amount of running and I naturally purchased some spandex tights and shorts. To keep my package in place, I wore thongs underneath. I enjoy going to the beach and have a collection of skimpy spandex swimwear. Depending on the beach, I now wear speedos with a full back, or a half back, thongs, or g-strings. I really enjoy going nude, but there are few beaches where being nude is acceptable. I now also have several pairs of spandex underwear; they are great under jeans. Especially when I travel, they wash well and dry quickly.
