Starting cycling

Hi, I'm going to start cycling so looking for some suggestions as to what clothing to buy. I've been looking at shorts & tops and the suit styles. Anyone have any suggestions or links to items for sale which you think I'd look good in? Also looking to meet up for cycling in the Midlands area but happy to travel to nice tracks/routes :)

Buy skinsuits. Much comfier (and sexier) than buying knicks and a top. Search eBay for "cycling skinsuit" and you'll find loads. Plus, we need more of us on the roads - i rarely see other cyclists in skinsuits. https://www.flickr.com/photos/aussiephil/17326417301/in/datetaken/
