Subtle notification sound?

Just an idea...I have this habbit of having the site opened in a tab while I am behind the PC. Would it be an idea to have a subtle notification sound when a message arrives? Even better if you can choose you want that sound on or off. Sometimes you forget about the site...and then you respond to an active chat 15 minutes later and the other person is offline. It would make the conversation running better I think?

I really like this! we're going to switch to a real-time messaging system, to fill the requirements for the upcoming mobile app. it makes sense to incorporate something like this. depending how easy it is to enable/disable this setting, I'd have it disabled by default.
