The First Step of the New Message Text Box 🚀

I'm super excited (and a little exhausted 😅) to finally share the first piece of a bigger vision: the brand-new Message Text Box! WHAT'S NEW RIGHT NOW? You have a smoother text box to write posts in. And you can now upload and share pictures directly in your posts—including XXX. Drag & drop works, too. Check out the attached picture on this post down below! Current limits: - any picture format (but no videos... yet) - up to 5 images per post - max 5MB per image This has been one of the most requested features for a long time, and it's finally here—at least the first step. Of course, new tools also mean new moderation challenges—but we'll tackle them together as a community, like we always do. WHAT'S COMING NEXT? - the same Message Text Box for DMs, with easier picture & video sharing - a “Recently Shared” section to quickly re-share content - image flagging for smoother moderation THE BIG PICTURE This isn't just a fun new feature. It also prepares parts of the server for the upcoming Mobile App. The Message Text Box (with uploads) is a key piece we needed in place before the app can happen. Consider this the first brick in a much bigger wall we're putting together. As always I'm eager to hear your feedback or issues with it. Let's go!
