The new generation of lycra/spandex - 25% spandex 75% nylon

I’ve been enjoying my huge fetish for lycra (spandex) for many, many years… and in that time I’ve seen so many changes in the gear and fabric we all love. For me, the best development in the past 5-6 years has to be the launch of super-silky, super-shiny 25% lycra fabric, as pioneered by Leohex and then Amoresy.
I never thought I’d say this, but this newer type of spandex fabric feels SO good that I now would never go back to the older, more coarse-knit 80% nylon 20% lycra material that was around in the 90s and early 2000s. Yes it was smooth, and looked shiny, but gear made from the 25% spandex is next level! So moulded to my body, so silky, so shiny and so stretchy. My gym tights, underwear, zentai suits, t-shirts, shorts, in fact all the gear I now buy and wear is made from that newer sexier 25% lycra!
Has anyone else crossed the line to 25% gear and never gone back? From zentais by Kangtiliu, to suits by Amoresy or tights by MJINM, I now can’t imagine going back to 80/20 nylon/spandex. How do other guys feel?

When we can get custom suit designs made from satin spandex I don't think I'll wear anything else. I do like to layer a hirogato under regular spandex for now, but I'm biding my time.

I feel the same, once you touch Amoresy or Kangtiliu fabric you can't go back, everything else feels meh in comparison

I like both kinds. To me, one isn't better or worse than the other, just different.

Back growing up all speedos were one hundred percent nylon.
My opinion nylon can't be beat ....

I just recieved my order aswell and its got about the same formula, its very shiny and light to wear, and revealing too due to the transparent material, altough...it isnt revealing when its already barely covering anything ;)

As a fellow long-time spandex fetishist, i’ve definitely noticed fabric blend changes over the years and also different textures and compression levels from different brands. Spandex is not a monolith, lol.
The super sleek and silky Amoresey fabric feels amazing and i love it for playtime and lounging around. And you, skintightness, look absolutely perfect in it!
I often like a little more muscle compression from my gear and my absolute hands-down fave is the original UA Heat Gear material from 15+ years go. Slight shine, moderate compression and a great feel. It smelled really nice too! They changed the tees and tights several years back and the fabric and stitching are different, but they sell the original again as Heat Gear OG on their website.

I really enjoy my Amoresy gear, but I still enjoy the classic spandex material as well, prefer a 15% or more spandex.
Amoresy feels amazing, but I tend to cum a lot faster in it which is hot, but not great if I’m trying to edge.
That reminds me, I need to get more gear ;-)
