Unfollow Forum Posts

There are some heavily responded to forum posts that produce a lot of notifications. Would be nice to unfollow them or suppress the notifications at the post level. Thanks daddy, keep up the good work! 😘

It would be nice if there were a way to turn off some of the forum notifications indeed (having them all turned on by default, but still allowing users to "unsubscribe"?). I'm not bothered by the amount, but I'm afraid that at some point, people will stop paying attention to them - which would be too bad, since the purpose of a notification system is to engage people more.

I agree with the comments above —some forums have become so repetitive that I’ve stopped checking for new posts, since I just see the same ones every time I log on

What is more, at least on android, when I click on a notification about a new forum post, I am sent to the first ever post on the topic, and not to the latest post. 

I agree, we need a "unsubscribe" functionality. sometimes one isn't interested in following a thread anymore. I still think it's good to have the "new thread" notification for threads posted in the same country category (which happen once, and not per reply). true, the pagingation isn't taken into account. will put that on my list to fix!

at last, the unfollow thread functionality is now live! ✅ you'll find at the top a "unfollow thread" button, that makes you opt out of notifications for that thread. just to remind you: as soon as you reply to a thread, or say you're "interested" in an event, you'll get notifications when new replies are added. this way you stay updated what's going on there.
