I heard now from several corners that we're going offtrack with what Spandex Party is about. I agree that I can see a trend of more and more pictures without any fabrics.
It's about Spandex, Lycra, Bulges; it's about the fabric, it's about the tightness.
Nude photos are cool and all, but they creeped in and got more and more the past months. We used to agree on a rule, where a cock pic now and then is fine, as long as the overall profile is about the love for Spandex and Lycra.
I don't want to implement nuclear changes, but maybe small could already bring this back on track.
(by the way, nude photos are more likely to get categorised as xxx content)
Possible suggestions:
- add short and concise rules when uploading
- moderate pictures more for fabricless pictures (setting uploaded as private)
- use the block functionality for serial offenders

Personally, I'd be pretty strict with it, otherwise it will just continue. It's difficult to see it in the context of the profile as a whole. Where do you set the ratio, 75% lycra to 25% cock or a random hole? Someone will see one picture like it, then post similar and before you know it their profile will just be cock pics.
Out of your suggestions, probably setting as private.

I agree on this - far too many nude pics. I had a couple from a while back, couple nudes and action shots that I’ve made private now. There should be guidelines for uploading - and a box to check for self-disclosure for when posting fringe content.
I think that’s all fine…help keep the content for tight gear of sorts

I love the nude pics-- love to see the spandex shots then see what's underneath! Also, a lot of the nude pics feature the tanlines from thongs and other tiny gear, and also show the action that results when two (or more) thong lovers collide. Agreeing here - its great to see a hardon popping out of their gear once in a while. But, I do prefer when its with gear, and not just a nude shot. The focus should be on the spandex and what it brings out in you. I've seen a couple AI images pop up recently, and some images of models in their lycra and also feel those don't belong.
You may find there could be interest among members in helping moderate images if that would help with the process (me, I'm members, lol).

To me, it's about respect for the site, its owner, and its membership. You don't join a sports car enthusiast site and post pictures of trucks and SUV's. Most of us who wear spandex enjoy showing off, and spandex ties to other things that let us do that. The "Categories" tab acknowledges, encourages, and welcomes that, and I think is a good guideline for what the core of the postings should be about. It also bears remembering that some guys on here are paying to access what is supposed to be a spandex oriented site.
I don't think there's anything wrong with spicing up the site with occasional nudes or off topic pics, but I think it's disrespectful to indulge off topic kinks and fetishes at the expense of the membership. There's Fetlife and plenty of other places for that. There's also to option of keeping off-topic content private, and sharing it privately with appreciative buddies.

As others have said, there are plenty of sites that cater to nudity, AI, latex, and other interests
Images that are not primarily about "lycra" and "men" will end up pushing away a lot of people and ultimately destroying what might be the last major place online for this interest. That would be a shame and it wouldn't really benefit anyone.
I would support a feature for flagging non-spandex content for moderation and review. Images that do not "positively contribute to the overall community of men interested in lycra" can be encouraged to share their non-lycra photos privately or in other forums.

From my point of view, there should always be lycra in the pictures and you should and may also see the dick and the bulge or when the thong pulls the strap into the ass etc..

There used to be a site a long time ago called "RateMySchlong". Silly I know but it was one of the best sites for bulge pics. 👍There was no nudity allowed. Just bulges, outlines, VPL, dick prints etc. It was the best.
Then something changed. I dunno if the owner sold the site or maybe it was hacked but it started getting individual nude shots, full on sex scenes and women. It stopped being the best. It was just an average typical porn site.

I think a solution would be to include a big (in bold, very visible) notification that pops when one clicks the "Upload" button. Some sort of reminder, like: "Spandex Party is about Spandex, Lycra, Bulges: that's the kind of pics we want to see uploaded here, rather than pure nudity".

for now I added a reminder in the upload modal, that Uploads should focus on Spandex, Lycra, and Bulges — or be closely related.
I'll start to moderate things more rigorously than before, and set pictures/videos to private right away if I don't see any connection with our theme.
I'd like to see if things get better with this. in no means I want a witch hunt!

There is a bigger issue to consider and I've chatted with Simon about it privately.
There are currently 17 states that require proof of age to see "porn." This is why Pornhub has shut down access in these states. They feel this is a freedom of speech issue and refuse to comply with these new laws.
Simon felt that because nudity was such a small part of this site, it would not be impacted. (Simon, correct me if I have this wrong.) With what is happening in DC right now, it would not surprise me if all porn sites and even porn adjacent sites like this one would be under more scrutiny. The less this site looks like a porn site, the better it is for it staying up.
