Whoever is marking pics as Private needs glasses or needs to rate fairly on everyones pics !!!!!!!!!!!!!

All of the above-- plus we were spoiled for the last couple months and had access to all pics (including ones that were previously private) because we were all given premium membership (and access to private pics are only given to premium members).

I reached out to the spandepartyadmin regarding blocked photos last week. I follow several guys and know that none of their photos were blocked but several of them are blocked with the new site. Here is his response:

Thanks for the example. As I suspected, the profile and its images are from the time, where the uploader could check the "Adult" checkbox themselves—you may remember the uploader from back then. So I'm sure these images reviewed got manually double checked. I'll let my AI program analyse through the older pics as well. then it will re-label and classify them and make them more accurate. Will take some hours, maybe 1-2 days. When I say AI program I want you to know: It's an AI that is able to label/categorise images based on excplitiy, violence and more things. The analysis of the images won't be transferred over to 3rd party service that could potentially store and/or look at our images—that was important to me! Overall this technology is state-of-the-art and used by big social platforms as well. (besides bulges I love to talk about nerdy stuff, too hehe)

I skimmed through my profile and noticed one photo has the flame icon at the bottom right side indicating it is xxx-rated. It's odd that the AI software picked this one photo. None of my photos are xxx-rated and I don't plan on making any of them anytime soon. If anyone wants to see that photo message me and I will send it to you. I might re-upload to see if that changes it back to unrated.

Thank you for forwarding this and sorry for the delayed reply from here here. I'd say the already categorised images are mostly wrongly categorised. So I'll get the AI to look over the existing ones soon—active accounts come first. Again, I really find it important to know that the pictures aren't sent to 3rd party companies or other entities for this. Maybe it's Germany that made me sensitive to these kind of privacy things, but I think others will value it here, too.

Not sure how well these changes will work. I checked my pics/videos and found two quite modest video clips of me in a public gym rated as XXX. So there needs to be a way to manually request a non-XXX rating if the post is misclassified by the AI system. As a free member (I was previously given free premium membership as I post a lot and have a big picture gallery), I accept someone has to pay for the site/servers. But I can now virtually not watch a single video in the Top videos of the month list as 90% are now XXX rated. I am thus unable to vote in the monthly poll (as I will not be checking the feed for new videos every 24 hours!). It also means pictures in the Top photos of the month list need to be tame or they will also get XXX rated and blocked out. Sounds a good way to make Spandexparty boring! I can't offer many suggestions but the main challenge for the site is surely weak/poor engagement. I find it is hardly buzzing with comments, messages or lots of people onlineb- so it needs to build engagement. My view is that members who submit good (ie well liked) content with good frequency should be given some reward (eg premium features). The monthly top lists are a good device for engagement.

Yes, I checked my profile and now, ALL pics are marked with that stupid little flame icon. I find this completely unacceptable. If the only images that can be viewed are tame, then this site will have all the appeal of an underwear retail website. What has made this site interesting is the opportunity to check out other members in whatever detail THEY choose to post, uncensored. If this is a way to force paid membership, I am out, particularly since, as yet, there seems to be no sensible, practical way to even send a payment. This site is clearly marked as for adults only. What next, a mechanism to censor the video clips that are the other main reason I even visit this site, so nothing can be posted that couldn't be viewed on YouTube?

Now that every one of my pics is tagged-- by whatever mechanism, but not by ME-- as private, I assume ONLY paid members can view them. Members, paid or not, are providing the content for this website, for FREE. That means photos, links to video clips, stories, conversation-- all member-generated, all FREE to the website. But now we are expected to pay (by a-yet-to-be-determined means for those who prefer to maintain privacy) to access the content we are providing for FREE. When I post content, it is with the intention that I decide what is available to be viewed and by whom, meaning, in most cases, I prefer ALL members to be able to see (and hopefully enjoy) my pics as I like to see (and hopefully enjoy) theirs. And now I notice that in many-- most-- cases, fellow members whom I have listed as favorites specifically because I have seen and enjoyed their content and like to return to it, and with whom I can exchange comments and messages-- have pics that I can no longer access. This is just unacceptable. If the goal is to monetize the website (which is a fair goal for those who put in the work to maintain it) this is NOT the way to do it. Again, the content is being provided, by MEMBERS, for FREE.

That's a good point, one of my buds on here said that all of my pics were blocked and he couldn't see them anymore

We can't view pics but apparently we can still be spammed.

I get the frustration but at least the spam situation has improved quite a bit in the last few months. Let's not forget how it was before.

Hey all, at this point I'd like to chime in. I understand that it's always negatively afflicted as soon as things get taken away. I'm no different here. I'm not surprised to see a conversation unfold on the forums about it after the Premium system got re-enabled. Although I wasn't expecting to read some posts in such a unfiltered tone. Let's aim to keep this civil. A lot of the frustration in this thread came from no knowing hwo the rating system worked. That is on me and I should find a better way to communicate such important features. I was already thinking of a notification section like every platform has, where short non-message related updates could appear. First let me tell you, that Spandex Party has been Premium-first for over a decade. No video was viewable as a free user at all. No xxx rated picture was viewable as a free user at all. Plus, the categorisation was much more strict (as you can see in the replies here that some tame pictures are marked as xxx where as newer full hardon pictures go through). I felt the balance wasn't right. Therefore I added the 24h mechanism to give active members a benefit of being active. This is intentional, except that older images need to be re-classified. I'll start that process in the next days, and it will take a few days to go through. Keep in mind that you can always share your pics and videos specifically with others via messages. this way they can get viewed 100%. Many don't know this, but I quit work for a few months, poured hundreds of hours of work into this community and site. The site wasn't just given to me for free, either. I didn't mention this because I didn't want to sound like a door salesman or asking for donations. I also don't want to turn this community into a pure money making machine where the user's data gets collected and sold to other companies; or bombard them with tons of (mostly unrelated) adult ads for the € per impression. I can see the numbers. Spandex Party is doing better than ever in terms of activeness and users (obviously not so much on the financial side, but this is not the point here). I'm in this for the marathon, not the sprint. I don't think Premium should be picked up by everyone. It's not for everyone, that's what makes it Premium. But I want to create a good balance between free and Premium. In the end, I don't want to go back to the situation where the whole community nearly gets wiped out due to an uneconomical site. SP has been around for around 15 years. Now we're here; a point in time shortly after relaunching the site. I think we should also look at it for the next potential 15 years. It will remind us, that everything can be solved to keep us moving forward in our own micro cosmos. With this brief philosophic digression, I'd love to wrap up: - Spandex Party is in for the long run - I value every member here, be it Premium or free - Everyone has a voice, use it constructively; suggestions into the right direction are very appreciated Cheers!
