if its not working on your end, try rebooting it could be a browser issue. sometimes a old cookie in the web browser has to be reset.. or deleted. when doing a browser refresh.

I blocked someone a few weeks back yet i get a notification atleast once a week saying they viewed my profile

I now investigated the issue of profile visits by blocked users and my assumption was right: the user got correctly prevented from reading the profile page, but it still added a "profile visit". now with the new notification system, these profile visits by blocked users were showing up on the notification list. this is fixed now! important to note, that the blocked user only saw the "error loading user" page like before, so it was only a display issue on the notification list. I hope this clears things up!

Okidoki. Danke dafür! 😍 Ob Fake-Profil oder keine Bilder im Profil. Bei mir wird jetzt grundsätzlich jeder geblockt der falsche Angaben zu seiner Identität macht oder kein Profilbild oder Bilder im Profil hat. Wer von sich nichts zeigt soll auch keinen Zugang zu meinen Bildern haben und sich hier durchklicken. Ich finde das sollte sowieso nicht möglich sein! 😉🙋🏻‍♂️

So if you block a user they can still try to access your profile, but will instead be given an error message?

forum does still show all posts of all users, as the forum is considered public. this would preserve the continuity. but we could think about hiding posts of blocked users with a "[show hidden post]" kinda message inbetween.

I think it would be best if the person who blocked you doesn't have access to the content of your profile. He can see the content of my profile, but I can't see his. Great

no, that's not correct. the blocked user cannot access your profile. the blocked user will get an "error loading user" on your profile. and he can't see your profiles or comments or messages; except in the forum because it's considered public domain. the entry in the notification is wrongly displayed. the "add profile visit" was added for blocked users as well, even though they couldn't see anything on the profile that blocked them. I hope I explained it now clearer

Whether fake profile or no pictures in the profile. I now generally block anyone who provides false information about their identity or does not have a profile picture or pictures in their profile. Anyone who doesn't show anything about themselves should not have access to my pictures and should click through here. I don't think that should be possible anyway! 😉🙋🏻‍♂️

on that same coin, metaphorically speaking, how can we tell if the pics are fake or not fake if the person does not show their face? that could be someone from the net with the head chopped off in the photo.... You talk about if people don't show anything about themselves should not have access to your photos, what about you what do you show? far as I can see absolutely nothing. you have others at quite a disadvantage. you can see them but they can't see you.... It just seems a bit hypocritical No offense or anything

That’s not what he is saying though. Understood about the blocked person, the point is that the blockER still has full access to the blocked profile while the blockED person has none. If a person is blocked, that block should be mutual surely. Neither can see the other?
