Fake profiles

For some time now I've been bothered by the fact that a lot of people are registering here without any profile description or pictures of their interests when it comes to spandex. Until recently I had a lot of pictures on my profile. I set most of them to āprivateā. .Why should you be able to click through to me and I can't see anything of the person ?When you register here, the minimum requirement should be to show yourself and I'm not talking about your face. But not revealing anything about yourself is zero information about yourself and then I'm not willing to reveal any about myself. I find it to be the most normal reaction in the world! š

there's literally someone very active on this thread posting misleading pictures. you can go on their social media and see how much their face changes as well as artifacts from pooly editing the face in, and you can also see clear use of AI in more of their pics and videos. SO there's some people really going all in with the catfishing on this site.Ā

regarding the image-less profiles:
I can see that many find it confusing to add a profile picture, or fill out their profile. I receive many questions about it. A better onboarding experience would help users to get their profile filled out more. Apart from that, I see many users that have pictures in their profile, but didn't set a profile picture.
š this will be worked on in the next months, so new users get onboarded better.

the discussion is going a bit sideways here.
to make things easier and more orderly, let me introduce the report picture & report user feature. it's now easier to provide feedback to something that the I, and in the future the mod team, can look at, investigate and act.
I will create a proper thread just for this to announce it.
Edit: I'll keep this thread open a bit more, but I intend it to be closed in the next days. if you feel like certain topic needs more discussion, please open a new threa din the Suggestions and site feedback forum.

I think there should be a different message to know if you have been blocked instead of āerror loading user.ā Ā Maybe a diplomatic message that you have been blocked, but donāt worry, there plenty others in the spandex sea.Ā

And you show respect by showing yourself. Blocking has nothing to do with discrimination and especially nothing to do with drama. If we want to get along with each other, we also have to know who we should get along with. That's all. š

I want to remind yall that we are all one tribe here, but with different roots.
there are plenty of ways to enjoy spandex and therefore Spandex Party. maybe someone is just in their discovery phase, maybe others are living it out to their fullest, we all are at different stages in their spandex life.
what we won't change is suddenly open our gates to everyone that isn't into spandex. we won't feed search engines or sell data in order to gain more traction, this is sacred. but with any gated community, you also must have an open mind to others and welcome them, regardless in which stage in their spandex life they are.
