Generative AI - Policy?

Suggestions and site feedback

It has made every other site into a trash heap of fake images, fake people... etc. Part of what I always loved about the kink community is our authenticity. But now it's starting to show up here too. It starts as an AI "enhancement" of a picture, just to make those shorts look more shiny. Then it quickly turns into outright body manipulation, tattoos that magically migrate all over the subject, clothing and lighting that looks almost cartoon. Then the slop machine goes into full beast mode and people just start posting completely fake nonsense images with captions like "These guys are hot" as they generate 100 of them a second. I was searching for anything about AI use here but couldn't find it. Maybe it just got buried. What's the actual rule? AI allowed here? Just block people who post it so I don't have to see it? I apologize in advance if this has been discussed before.

I don't think there's an actual policy but it's been discussed in the forum before, and the takeaway is that the vast majority of our user community on here think it's a negative and don't like it.

Yes, in the least, the content should be marked AI enhanced or produced.

Agree. I think this is why picture tags are so valuable. If people don't want to see AI content it can then be filtered out.

Thx for bringing this up. I think it’s super important to discuss it at LEAST… since images on this platform show bodies that ultimately shape our habits of what is „ideal“ and, now with AI gen/alternations (not talking about the obvious stuff) being popular and becoming increasingly undetectable, „real“.

I’ve been reporting profiles/pictures that seem to just be generative AI and/or simply reposted from the internet.  This site shouldn’t be about what AI can give us or what we can find in Google search results.

You mention pictures reposted from the internet. In the few months I've been here I have seen a few pictures that I have seen elsewhere on the internet.

Broad agreement here. First of all, I get it that AI pix are a thing for some folks. Not shaming anyone on the kink site! But it's not what I would hope we're here for: to share our authentic selves in our own gear and enjoy that. Gen AI for me is super non-erotic: it's not real. I'm just not going to get turned on by something conjured up by an algorithm. I think (hope) most folks here feel similarly. Maybe if generated images are going to be allowed, they should be (1) identified/tagged as such during image upload; (2) allowed to be suppressed from my view; (3) provide the ability for other users to flag-tag it if the original uploader doesn't and maybe (4) have A stuff segmented off to its own section of the site so folks who like it can come together.

Just adding to the pile of I don't want to see any AI either, like ever, and especially not here.

I could mention that I've been working with AI for like... 5 years. The problem with "force to tag it" is that it's super expensive to do that. Detection services basically treat each evaluation as a generation, its mostly the same math as a generation model. So our admin would end up payin like 50 cents a post just to detect and tag it, and I love this site but that's asking a lot. Glad so many people feel the same way. I come here to see people. Real people. Not cartoons dreamt up by a machine. There are literally 9000 sites for that already and so precious few sites of real people, that I get defensive of my community when it starts to get polluted. ;)  Not gonna kink shame. AI is fun, it can make some fun stuff. Fantasy pics and stories are a snap. Just... keep it where it belongs?  That shouldn't be a controversial opinion.

I'm having a ball with A.I. making my old man body look like a fitness model. But I don't share any of those photos here.

Yes that would definitely be asking too much of our admin here. But the easiest snd of course cheapest way, would be to make it mandatory to flag a picture as AI during the upload process. Like by just adding a "this picture is AI generated" field that the uploading person has to check. And if not doing so, and still uploading the picture, you could get deleted if it is a reoccurring thing. I don't have any knowledge of how difficult it is to adapt the upload page in this kind of way, but I guess in comparison it would be rather easy to implement it. And I completely agree, I am here to show off me and my gear, and of course see other hot guys in gear. Not some AI versions or fantasies.

The flood of AI images is so saddening - presenting unattainable men as the objective, rather than glorying in all the wonderful folks who are real and actually own and enjoy lycra!
