Help shape our Q4 roadmap 🚀

Hey guys, Before we start talking about Q4, I want to take a moment to look back at the roadmap we shared for Q3. And honestly, I'm really happy with how much of it we managed to get done. WHAT WE'VE DONE IN Q3 We went into Q3 wanting to shift more focus back to the platform itself after spending a lot of time on operational work earlier in the year. Since then, we've been able to make progress on almost everything we had planned. Among other things, we worked on: - Direct replies to comments - Reactions to DMs - Expiring photos in DMs - Better username search - Improvements to browsing categories by month - Growing our offline presence, including Folsom Berlin - New & hot styles for the Spandex Party Shop So we've managed to work through pretty much the entire Q3 roadmap! 💪 A big part of that roadmap was shaped by feedback from all of you, so before I lock in what comes next, I'd like to do the same again. Q4: WHAT SHOULD WE FOCUS ON NEXT? I'm currently putting together the roadmap for the next few months and plan to share the more concrete Q4 roadmap within the next 1–2 weeks. Until then, I'd really like to hear what matters most to you right now. I'm especially interested in: - Bugs: What's currently annoying you the most or getting in your way? - Quality-of-life improvements: What change would make Spandex Party noticeably better or easier to use? - Workflows that feel incomplete: Is there something you regularly try to do that feels awkward, confusing, or unnecessarily difficult? - Features & ideas: What's missing? What would you most like us to build or improve? And some bigger ideas we're already exploring There are also a few ideas we've talked about before that could become relevant in Q4: - 🌍 Travel / Meet / Discovery - 📱 An early mobile app, initially focused on messaging and discovery And beyond: - 🛍️ Marketplace - 💬 A rework of Cam Chat That's why I'm particularly interested in hearing not just whether you want these things, but how you think they should actually work. What would make them genuinely useful to you? What would make you use them regularly? What would you want us to avoid? For anything involving meeting or discovering other people in particular, I'd also love your thoughts around privacy, safety, moderation and security. Those things need to be part of the design from the beginning, not something we add afterwards. AND NOW OVER TO YOU You don't need to write a huge wishlist. Even if there's just one thing you really want fixed, improved or added, post it below. And if somebody has already suggested something you agree with, feel free to say so or add your perspective. That helps us understand which things matter to more people. I'll go through everything here while putting together the final Q4 roadmap, which I'll share within the

Currently I have a new message indicator but can’t find the message. That popped up around the time the reactions to messages was introduced. Also, when viewing pictures if I try to zoom in (on my phone) it auto-advances or reverses to the following or previous picture. Maybe put a little arrow to click instead of making the entire picture a hyperlink to advance or reverse.  Just my two cents.  Thanks for everything you do Simon!

I would love for guys to be able to post the style/maker of what they are wearing when uploading a new photo. I have spent a lot of time trying to track down the manufacturer of something I would like to purchase. 

Well great job...first thing to say! Two small suggestions 1. I wonder why the forum is open? I think for indexing? If you search on spandexparty.com you get some pics of users. I think not desirable. 2. On mobile the add sometimes makes the like-button out of sight. I prefer not to scroll to 'like' when i check the pics.

I've got something thats a great quality of life thing: Dark/night mode! Maybe its only me but i often find myself on this site during the evening / night in my dark room and every time i open the site all the white & bright colours absolutely flashbang me! Its not great on my eyes, perhaps a dark mode could prevent that from happening & might be easier on my eyes late at night, im sure that theres others that could also benefit from that. :)

I remember when you could see the guys you are following were online. I’d like to see that again. Just so I could quickly see if any were online. 

Would love the ability to reply to specific messages in dm's, and to react with more emojis

The ability to rearrange pictures in a profile. It's nice to group similar pictures together after being posted a while or putting your favorite picture before other pix.

I see someone post in a forum in notifications, but when clicking the notification, it goes to the first page of the forum, and not to the referenced page from the notification.

I agree. I would like to see this remedied as well. 

Would be cool to create tribes or subgroups within our very diverse site. I.e. thongers, speedos, amorsey/bodysuit, etc. So folks could interact with others more with similar interests. Definitely though don't want to create any perception of exclusion.

Would still love to be able to set some image category filters/preferences. e.g. to exclude categories you're not interested in from things like the New feed.

When reworking the cam chat, I have something that definitely should not carry over to the new one: In the current one, you can mute users. That is a good thing as sometimes, you just don't feel like chatting with anyone. But then, it happens ever so often, that this gets revoked either due to a cookie expiring or the setting not being saved. My idea would be: Have these muted cam chatters saved in the profile to make it permanent. If it can be worked on technically on the new cam chat, that's great. And another two cents from me: When we talk about spandex, there's one big community missing... COSPLAY! Sometimes a cosplay costume is made of spandex and there might be some users out there, that even have a fetish for spandex-made cosplays. I try to separate fetish and cosplay, but it would be nice to have to see if it gets accepted.

Seeing who liked a comment when clicking on the number of likes.  & I only use it on mobile so I don’t know if it’s different on desktop version, but also seeing a list of all profiles who liked a picture when clicking on the likes. 

I've always found this shocking, especially with all these threads of social media handles/telegram usernames. The forum should imo be behind login and not public.

Can we please have an age filter, even if behind paywall? I'm so happy this community has a wide age demographic, but this routine gets frustrating: - Click on an interesting profile thumbnail - Realise user is much older or younger - Navigate to a different page - User receives notification that I've visited their profile - User comes to my profile, I get a notification - Maybe they even like some photos, more notifications Assuming I've accidentally done the same thing before to the exact same user, maybe they assume interest, and I need to let them down. That's all very human, but why should it be necessary? At this point I've started blocking those people because I feel like it's more polite somehow. Edit: another option to alleviate this might be to have an 'invisible' mode like some dating apps, where viewing profiles doesn't notify users at all.

A way to tag other users in our posts. Whether we meet up and post content either multiple of us or we are passing gear around would really help build bonds.

Bug: When I click in to  one of my photos from a notification for a like or comment the interface sometimes shows the licker's profile pic and username where mine should be. Feature request: I would love to be able to go back and browse a list of posts I've liked! Thanks for all the work you do Simon! 🫂

Just an idea, what do you think about adding a poll feature like for giving other members a chance on which gear you should wear on that day or some weekly or monthly challenges
