Skype is shutting down

If I read the info from Microsoft correctly then it will be possible to use Teams with your Skype account. Chat history and contacts will be migrated.

WhatsApp is the best option

The Microsoft recommendation is use Teams - I have installed both on iPad & iPhone can log in with MS ID - I think MS are linking them a bit better as can’t see Skype contacts yet so not sure how that will go
