ok, i had deleted the original post because i felt a bit too exposed by it, but since ppl are still responding, i felt i should give a brief summary of what was here
umm basically, i myself am, i would say asexual, but since i have a spandex fetish, there's a bit of a loophole into homosexuality if certain conditions are met
and so, by that same logic, i reasoned that straight guys who have a spandex fetish might also have that same loophole into homosexuality if the right conditions were all in place
I know straight men into spandex on (only) women. If a dude is turned on by other dudes in any capacity they’re at least bi or pansexual. If a dude is only turned on by women, in spandex or not, they’re straight. There are a bunch of straight dudes on this site even, so it’s not as rare as you’d think.
8eight8 is right, there are quite a few str8 guys on here. i notice it more on another big fetish site i've visited, but they seem to run the range in terms of what turns them on & what their limits are. Some are just turned on by spandex stuff, sometimes women's gear, sometimes men's gear, sometimes both. All their pics & writing & chat is just about the gear & wearing it, & no interaction or talk about messing around except alone in their gear. Some say in their profile that they're str8, but they like & comment on pics of other guys horned up in spandex, & respond when you like or comment on theirs. & then some identify as str8, but it's obvious from their writings & comments that they're perfectly willing to hook up & mess around with other guys in gear. & I think it's all good. I don't really care about gay, bi, or str8. There's already so few of us into this & it's so hard to find play buds, for me, welcome to all who get off on it and like to play in it, & who cares about the labels.
Yup swimmer2004! I think we should be careful not to disbelieve how somebody identifies on the spectrum of sexuality. I personally have dealt with it in the past, mostly by gay men who think in the binary and cannot fathom bi/pansexuality being a real thing.
I am straight as in who I decide to live with. My wife knew about my spandex fetish, and she gets turned on by it, but not as much as I do. We thong together at public beaches and play in spandex gear occationally. Pernsonally, I can get super horny looking at fit smooth guys in thongs and spandex gear. If the right moment with the right guy came, I would defintately have a sexual spandex encounter, though I'm straight. But I would not live together with another man.
I’m definitely in the boat of in day to day life i’d see myself as straight. BUT, in more recent years i’ve explored play with other guys in spandex. Outside of my fetish, I am not into guys, just girls.
I'm straight but always had a spandex fetish since a teen. I purchased my first speedo at age 12 at JC Penny. Also got some Jockey Skantz. Eventually I got older and purchased speedo swimwear from Prevail Sport. I would lay outside in a very private area on the beach and also drive to my spot wearing nothing but a speedo. Eventually I started dating women and got married. None liked my fetish. So..I hide it. I do make sure I keep fit, even at 58 so I can feel sexy in my gear. I still lay outside and many times it's in my back yard when nobody is home which is the norm. Weekends I have to keep my clothes on but wear a g or thong at home under my clothes. I do have a desire to meet another guy who also has a spandex fetish but in America that is a rarity.
Why the stigma for men wearing thongs and g-string underwear? Must be that Americans are prudes.
